The International Public Relations Network (IPRN), with member agencies spanning 40 countries, ended its 25th anniversary in 2020 with impressive growth –reaching its highest membership at 54 agencies- with record income and innovative activities. The organization proved its potential and uniqueness in 2020 and looks to continue growing successfully in spite of the difficult actual global context.
IPRN is one of the world’s largest networks of independent owner lead public relations firms. The organization added eight new member agencies in the past year, bringing its total to 54, the highest number since it was formed in 1995. Member agencies cover more than 80 markets in 41 countries including North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Far East and Australia.
“2020 was a successful year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of IPRN. We have been focused on improving the organization offering excellent activities, growing our membership and building unparalleled opportunities for fostering relationships with agencies around the world through our knowledge experiences, information sharing and best practices at our annual and regional conferences, webinars and activities,” said Luis González, President of IPRN. Members meet yearly in different parts of the world for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and webinars to share information, network with agency owners and discuss business opportunities for their clients.
A unique lean international governance resulted in constant member growth and knowledge transfer, often meaning additional business for agencies, sharing clients and projects and incorporating expert partners. It has built IPRN’s reputation as an international competitive body for winning international PR agencies and work. With members all over the world, IPRN agencies specialize in nearly all the economy sectors.
IPRN celebrated its 25th anniversary at its AGM in a great and innovative virtual 3 day meeting in November hosted by the award winning Portuguese member Central de Informação that will organize this year also the traditional & online 5 day congress from Lisbon in May.
Agencies added in the past year include: Extrovert (Greece), Luna (Belgium), Houston (UK), Textual (Brazil), Aurora Strategy (Canada), Mekky Media and Aker Ink (Chicago and Phoenix – USA) and Etymon (Hong Kong – China), bringing the number of IPRN members to 54, representing more than 40 countries with offices in 108 cities during 2020. The combined fee of IPRN members exceeds $550 million and staffs of 7,500. Agencies provide assistance to each other, with local knowledge and global reach for all clients looking for selective market PR programs.
