L45, agency specialized in on and off-line institutional relations have presented the second edition of the study “Journalism in the digital era” in front of 30 communicators of leading Italian and international corporations at the Linkedin Italian branch offices.
The study, based in a survey about how the Italian financial and economic journalist use internet and social media for their job, shows the image of a strongly changing sector. This new edition of the study reveals interesting highlights:
– 98,6% of journalists regulary consult online sources for the preparation of their articles, compared to a 68,2% that says used “always”.
– The main sources consulted online are articles from other publications (75%).
– The main social networks used by journalist as new sources are Linkedin (43,8%) and Twitter (27,6%).
The presentation of the investigation was accompanied by a round-table discussion with the participation of LinkedIn’s Head of Sales Large Enterprises, Moreno Ferrario, and with the speech of journalist Marco Giovannelli, president of ANSO (National Online Press Association) and Director of Varesenews.it. Simone Guzzardi, partner and managing director of L45, presented by Luca Villani, president of L45 and partner of The Van Group, were also present at the event.
