Support among agencies is much needed for the professionalization of the communication industry. The House PR Agency, an independent communication agency from Romania and member of IPRN since 2019, has organized a business experience exchange in London, together with Redwood Consulting, as a way to share knowledge and gain insights on the international communication patterns and trends. Part of the team working at the Romanian agency has visited the UK agency, to get a feel of the international public relations industry, exchange ideas and get to know the way of business in United Kingdom. The two IPRN members organized a one-day meeting to get to know each other and share precious insights. They discussed about the overall communication industry, local practices and shared PR tips and tricks. The experience exchange has been a great chance for both parties to expand their business horizons and share insights on the global communication trends. Overall, it was a great learning opportunity. The team members at The House PR Agency shared their thoughts on the experience: “It’s not only about business and not only about pleasure. I think we keep this life-work balance pretty well at The House PR Agency. Having them both was the motto of this business trip to London – also, it was my first visit there! I was so excited to see the iconic places I’ve been reading about for so long. At the same time, getting first-hand insights from top-notch London PR experts was the most rewarding business experience. I have had the opportunity to speak with people who have been in London PR & comm industry for so many years – and they gave us many precious insights. These three rainy autumn days in London were just perfect to create unforgettable memories.” says Viviana Dimcev, Media Relations Manager. “New experiences are important in the growth process, both professional and personal. The business trip to London this week has been a great chance to do both: discover a new, exciting and busy city and get to know the local communication environment, the one The House PR Agency was inspired by! Overall, it was a perfect experience and I am so grateful for it!” – Silvia Totu, Digital PR Manager.
