For the second year in a row IPRN’s Russian partner, PR Partner, has held a specialist PR conference for the IT and Telecom industries. Some 97 specialists gathered together on 19th March in Moscow to discuss ideas and presentations.
The audience was prolific in asking questions
The survey following the conference gave an approval rating of over 80% for both conference content and organization.
Andrei Aronet on brand creation
In total there were 11 speakers: representatives of Russia’s top business media and PR and Marketing departments of IBM, ABBYY, Dell, Kaspersky Lab and other Russian and global companies. Additionally there was an overseas speaker, Andrei Aronet, from the Romanian PR agency, PR & More.
The survey also showed that the Russian audience of mostly PR specialists, showed a greater interest in the presentations of journalists rather than those of their colleagues. Dmitriy Turusin of PR Partner said, “The reason for this might lie in the incredible practical benefit of the journalists’ presentations. They gave the audience a clear idea of what an IT journalist requires and what steps a PR specialist must make to establish strong connections with the media.”
Mihail Vasin, head of Kaspersky Lab’s strategic PR department in Russia
He went on to say that he and the PR Partner team involved in the conference were delighted with how the day was received by all and will use the feedback to improve the quality of the conference next year.
