On 22nd May PR Partner organised a business conference – PR in IT – that took place in Moscow.
With three main themes: analysis, PR in the B2B sector and PR in the B2C sector the conference attracted more than 120 PR directors, marketing managers together with advertising specialists from the largest IT companies throughout Russia.
Discussions included the newest technologies and PR tools as well as the role of PR in marketing communications within IT companies. Business case histories were presented and global PR trends analysed.
Inna Alexeeva, General Director of PR Partner commented, “This was the first conference in Russia to cover PR in IT. We are delighted it has been such a success and are already planning next year’s event.”
Several of the presenters flew in especially for the conference including, Andres Wittermann (Executive Vice President EMEA& APAC, Lewis PR, Germany) who spoke about European PR and its perspectives and Peter Wilkinson (Social Media Director at Panther Social Media, UK) provided the audience with his own take on social media marketing trends.
Peter commented, “I didn’t expect such a big interest in PR for IT in Russia. It has been an terrific experience and I’m delighted that so many questions were asked of all of the speakers during the event – that always shows just how deeply the audience is engaged.”
To encourage active participation PR Partner incentivised the audience by offering a free one year membership to IABC (The International Association of Business Communicators).
In all 13 speakers addressed the audience and they were drawn from such well known international companies as IDC Russia, Kaspersky Lab, IBM Russia, Cisco CIS, ABBYY and Oracle CIS among others.
