IPRN member The binsfeld agency in Luxembourg came up with a truly novel way for its client, maker of exquisite confectionery Oberweis, to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary – a nationwide casting for the star of its next advertising campaign.
They were searching for Luxembourg’s happiest little gourmand to be the face of its new advertising campaign. Some 472 children between the ages of 4 and 8 years submitted their pictures via a specially created Facebook app. The four pictures with the most ‘Likes’ were then submitted to a jury and the final winner was selected – Billie.
Billie then took part in a photoshoot for the new advertising campaign and she was invited to visit Oberweis – particularly the patissiere sections.
binsfeld also produced a video of the set up of the competition which can be viewed at: http://youtu.be/Zits0jTG_xw, which attracted over 1700 ‘Likes” in addition to the competition entries.
