A very personal, clever and multimedia app has been developed by IPRN’s Luxembourg member binsfeld for the municipality of Walferdingen in northern Luxembourg.
The free app – LiesApp – has been designed to encourage users to dive into the world of literature through reading and discovering exciting facts about Book Days, and enjoy interviews with household name.
Professor Frank Hofmann from the University of Luxembourg explains how literature and philosophy are closely related. And there’s the opportunity to read selected texts from Walfer anthologies that are interspersed with audio files and readings by authors.
Claude Sauber, associate director of binsfeld, explained, “Our client presented the new app for the first time at the recently held Walfer Bicherdeeg book fair to mark its twentieth anniversary. Available for smartphone or tablet it can be downloaded completely free of charge from the Apple or Google app stores and start installation by clicking on the ‘Get’ button.
