All abuzz: senft & partner help raise awareness of plight of bees

senft & partner organised a flashmob in Vienna – Bienenballett – for client bellaflora, Austria’s leading garden centre business. The aim was to draw attention to the plight of bees and the importance of organic and biological gardening.

The tactic won PR agency senft & partner the Golden VAMP* for the Best Guerilla Marketing 2014 category.

senft & partner, who specialise in building and living, devised the unconventional tactic as part of its comprehensive communication plan for bellaflora – the Sustainability Initiative under the title of Flower Power. This campaign has been running since 2012 and its central objective is to help bellaflora convey the importance of sustainability to existing and new customers alike.

The agency’s work for bellaflora has also been recognised in Germany where is has been selected as a finalist in the International German PR Awards 2014 in the corporate social responsibility category. The award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt on 23rd January 2015.
